All version are avaliable in Automatic Transmissions. Manual drive mode is not implemented in Nexon EV. The motor used in this EV is Permanant Magnet Synchronous Motor. Which produce 129*PS power and with 245 Nm Torque. It has 2 drive modes Drive Mode and Sports Mode. Battery used is Lithium Ion Battery gives 30.2 kWh high energy density with 8 Years of Warranty. It took 8.5 Hrs for regular charging and 1 Hrs for fast charging.
Nexon EV comes with some smart drive features Hill Ascent Assistant and Hill descent Assistant, smart regenerative braking system. Short range variant offers 300 km range in single charge while long range variant offers 470 km in single charge. Short range battery pack provides 133 bhp power and took 9.3 seconds to reach 0 to 100kmph speed while the large variant provides 201 bhp power and took 7.6 seconds to reach 0 to 100kmph speed.
Short range battery pack requires 6 hours to charge and long range battery pack requires 9 hours to fully charge. The Kona comes with 100 kW DC. charger which can take 54 minutes to charge upto 80 percent.
